Default Text on a wall, Sony Vegas

So I am editing a Team fortress 2 montage (Its king of like Counter strike) And I'm trying to do what I saw in many montages. They often put text on walls. I saw them edit this a lot of times in premiere where they give the effect certain points so as the video moves it stays on the same place on the wall. How do I do this in Sony Vegas 9?
One more thing. If there is something over it first, masking is the easyest way to do this?

    Default

Create the text in the normal way on a track above the video. Now use the 3D track motion to place the text at the right angle and size. Reduce the transparency a little to make it take on the texture of the wall.

That's the basic steps. Some refining may be needed to get the look you want.
