    Default Homebuilt Glidetracker demo

I'm not really posting this vid for ctritical assessment - rather more to just demonstrate the type of shots my homebuilt camera slider can do...

Still one or two niggly bits to attend to - adjustable feet on each corner and a much better tripod head atop the whole thing....

Would be interested to see what peoples thoughts are..

Looks like Optimus Prime with a camera attached. Is that thing heavy?

I've seen a similar technique by dismantling parts of a tripod - and using its legs as a sort of weight-balance.

Not bad for a 100! Considering your average steadicam costs five times that just for the stick-thing.

Nice video - no need to case your joint

(Post-thought: is there a difference between a steadicam and a glidecam?)

That sure looks like it could take some weight are you thinking of attaching your jib to it.

Nice piece of kit to have. Are you taking orders.

This isn't a Glidecam replacement - and the main difference between Glidecam and Steadicam is weight and price.

Gotta say it is bloody heavy compared at least to a Glidetrack. Having said that, It gives ultimate stability...

I'm sure people wouldn't begrudge you a nice profit for this superb product. You time and skill is worth money. Having said that I would expect a hefty discount for being your first customer.

I can source the other bits (legs, feet etc) but its the plate that the tripod head attaches to that's the issue at the moment...

I am now actually. Two hundred quid. Collect in person or add shipping. (You need to provide your own tripod head)
