Thread: Searching for mod files

    Default Searching for mod files

How do I search for mod files? If I use mod and files as the keywords then I get dozens of hits for posts with only files in them. If I use only mod then I get a message that the word is too short. Is it possible to use Boolean operators or phrases in quotes? I looked under Advanced Search but couldn't see any obvious ways of doing these.

    Try Quicktime .mod

Do you mean putting Quicktime .mod in the search box? I'm assuming not as it only gives lots of hits for Quicktime. However, I remembered the old, clumsy workaround of using a url, so I googled on url:www.videoforums.co.uk +mod which gave me 3 hits, although I had to use the cached versions to find the posts.
