Default Create AVI with menu from AVCHD for PC use

I have created some AVI files (1920 x 1080) from my AVCHD files.
I have created DVD player DVDs with menu OK,
I have created a DVD with my AVI files without a menu.
But what I really want is to create a DVD of my AVI files for the computer and with a menu.
    Is this possible?
If so what software will produce it ?

If you make a DVD the files will be converted to mpe2 format unless you make a data disk in which case the menus won't work. So, yes you can start with a .avi file and make a menu for it BUT if you want the menus to work you will have to convert the files to mpeg2 like all DVDs.

Is it that you feel you are loosing image quality form the conversion ?

    Thanks Midnight Blue
Yes you are right, the 1920 x 1080 is really good and I am not going to degrade it.
You have confirmed what I suspected.
I will stick to my data DVD full of AVI files.
