    Default Rendering

Okay, so I'm a novice and I need some help!

I am transferring analouge videos to digital using my new Cannon Optura 40 and it woks great. After I edit them in Pinnacle Studio 9 SE I choose the "render but don't burn" option as I want to compile a DVD with several different "Chapters" on it instead of one big video. However, once rendered, Pinnacle places the rendered video on the hard drive and I can't seem to get the software to burn it.

    Any advise?

It's not clear what you're asking. You can compile a DVD with chapters without having to render a disc image for each part.

    What software are you using?

    Tone33,

Thanks for your reply, I'm using Pinnacle Studio 9 SE.

Yesterday, after some digging, I figured out that the movie should be one long file with chapter markers inserted manually or automatically depending on one's needs. THEN it is rendered and burned.

I do think I should upgrade the SE format however. Evidently, when creating menus, you can only put one chapter per menu on SE. It seems to be worth the $50 to gain that and some other cool transisitons.

    Cheers!
