Default The Perfect Sound (Short Film I made, shot on a 7D)

Hey there, this is a short film me and some friends made for a 'make a film in a week' film competition. The theme was 'Visualise Sound'. The competition was sponsored by ASUS laptops, so we had to include a reference to their new notebook soundsystem, but hopefully the film still works.

We shot in 1080p on a Canon 7D. Please watch on high quality if you can!

Be great if anyone reading this could watch it and give some feedback!

    Cheers.

Very nice. Clever idea. Hope it does well.
Whilst I liked the separation of the "sound engineer" from the background I thought he could have done with a little backlighting on the lefthand side (as we look at it). Parts of him disappeared into the background and the odd highlight would just give him a bit more definition.

Yeah that's a fair point. We shot the whole thing in 1 day, and there were only 4 of us overall, so we were a little rushed on certain things. I think the lighting's good in the film, but yes undoubtedly with more time we could have perfected it a bit more.

Thanks for the comments though guys.

I thought it was a good little film, and a great idea as an advertisement. It kept me watching till the end so I guess it did it's job!

Thanks for that. I mean the advertisement side of it is quite slim, but ideally we hope it stands on it's own 2 feet as a fun short film too.
