Thread: Audio Filtering in Adobe Premiere Elements

Default Audio Filtering in Adobe Premiere Elements

I have an old tape captured but the audio track is low. I've bumped up the sound level to where I can hear the desired dialog going on, but it has also increased the buzz of the camcorder. Is there any way in Premiere Elements to filter out a buzz or hum from the audio track? If not, are there any 3rd party altrenatives for this and how would I operate a 3rd party utility on my already existing PrEl project?

    Thanks,
    Mike.

I'm sure one of the supplied audi effects is a 'noise remover'. Premiere pro has a few. I'm sure there's at least one in elements.

It certainly has one called DeNoiser.
I haven't used it so can't comment on how good it is.
