Thread: Showreel with inappropriate sound track.

  1. #1

Default Showreel with inappropriate sound track.

I thought it was time I started to get a showreel together but because I've been suffering really baddly form the flu I think the virus is affecting my brain. I used Creep by Radiohead as my sound track.

Is this just an indicator that the fever is still apon me.

Then it would appear the fever is still upon me.

Firstly, it's a wicked song and any chance to hear it is fine by me! Probably not on a show reel though ... connotations of being a creep and the swearing alone are enough to discount it, and that is without thinking of what Radiohead's label will do to you financially when they catch you using it!

I think your Reality Check has just bounced.

Actually, only one observation: Concerning the picture of the ice cycle, it would be neat if you reversed that video, so that the camera follows down, and when it reaches the end, a drop of water falls away.

As for your fever, take two nurses and call your doctor in the morning.

Well. I liked it. The whole point of a showreel is to grab the viewer's attention and emotional music helps.

At least it's not boring and the chances of getting "done" are so minimal, on this occasion, I'd take the risk.

Well it seems a moment of madness came upon me. My excuse, I was listening to raidiohead while under the influence of the flu. I was thinking of a tag line at the end "Midnight Blue Productions, never ordinary". There is a lesson for us all to learn.

I'm sure I'll end up using some generic piece from my back catalogue when I do a proper showreel but this amused me for a while.

I'm liking this idea, thanks Digger.

Well that was my thoughts yesterday, through my dazed fever.

So, here is a new version with different inappropriate music but at least I won't get sued over this music, unless you can be sued for showing bad taste.
