Default cs 3 vs elements 9

Video editing was a hobby I fell out of for awhile and I'm getting back into it. I still have my copy of premiere cs3 but I don't have the Photoshop to go with it.For the more advanced special effects editing I want to do. I can't quite afford to upgrade to cs5 but there is a software pack of both photoshop elements 9 and premere for a reasonable price. Would I be losing anything in terms of functionary moving to that software back than my version of premiere cs3.

It's difficult to know without knowing what you want to do. Why don't you check out the trial version of elements and see? https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/i...ents&loc=en_us.
