Default Adjusting Black Level in Vegas HD Platinum 10

Hello. I am finding that the DVD's I am burning from a Vegas Plat. 10 project go to total black whenever there is anything remotely dark on screen. I've tried Brightness/Contrast but that doesn't help much. I can't find any way to adjust the black levels or fill shadows (like Photoshop). FYI- The problem is not nearly as bad when I'm looking at it in Vegas on my computer. It really only shows up on the DVD. Any suggestions???

Test a standard shop bought DVD. Any difference?

Bottom line here, is that what you see on the t/l SHOULD be what you SEE when rendered out too.

Thanks. I double checked the set up on my monitors and they all needed some calibration. It wasn't the program at all....
