Default Shoe Adapter For Lights & Small Monitors

I don't remember which thread it was anymore, but I had mentioned a while back that I traded a small mixing board to a guy on Ebay for a nice, large Bescor LED light which would be good for outdoor interviews in bad lighting etc. The problem I had with the light was that it bumped up against the microphone to the point where I could only get the light to scoot back less than halfway on the shoe. Well, I found that Bescor makes a swivel shoe adapter for $20 that lifts the light up higher and out of the way of the mic. It also works well for attaching a small 5 or 6 inch monitor in the same way, and it swivels on a ball in any direction for just about any angle you want to set it.

The adapter itself is mostly made of plastic, so it ain't gonna last forever, but I won't use it much, and if I get 7 or 8 years out of it I'll be happy.
