Default DVD Video to Mail Video Questions?

How can i extract just a single part of a DVD Movie and make it small to send by mail?

Do i have to rip all the DVD Movie, or can i rip just a single part?

What kind of software is more appropriated?

depending on the length of clip, that can make it still far too big. You don't want to be sending dvd-res mpeg-2 by email. Most email accounts won't accept big attachments anyway.

I'd recommend that the OP googles for an app called "fairuse". This will let you select a section, however small or large, and convert it to xvid, for good file sizes and good quality.
