Default Panasonic hvx200 - dupe frames removal

    HI
I HAD SHOT WITH THE PANASONIC HVX200 - DVCPRO HD AT 24P.
THE MXF FILES SHOW DUPE FRAMES WHEN PLAYED IN PREMIERE.
FCP - LOG AND TRANSFER METHOD - USING REMOVE PULLDOWN SETTINGS - STILL THE CONVERTED FILES SHOW DUPE FRAMES
TRIED PUTTING THOSE FILES ON SEQUENCE -( CHECKING " SHOW DUPLICATE FRAMES " SETTINGS OF SEQUENCE ) - NOTHING CAME UP
TRIED RAYLIGHT MFX , ULTRA - BUT NO SOLUTION
LINK TO MXF AND MOV FILE - http://www.fanaticstudio.com/DUPE.FRAMES.rar
PLEASE GUIDE ON THE REMOVAL OF THE DUPLICATE FRAMES.
    I M A BIT NEW ON THIS.

    THANKS

    ABHISHEK

I have the same camera but have never had this problem. I'm not sure what the issue is with this but I've never shot footage at 24p. I use Sony Vegas with the Raylight Plug-in and the pull down is fine. Could it be something to do with your project settings. Have you tried rendering out a sample of the footage ? Try it to see if the problem corrects it's self. How does the problem manifestit's self during play back ?

I downloaded the clip and put it into Sony Vegas. The clip length is 39.076 secs long at 23.976 fps. this equals 951 frames the exact number Vegas reports. So I really don't know what's going on. Have you set your project settings to 23.967 or 24 fps ? If you have it set to 30 fps the pull down will be wrong and you will have duplicate frames. So if your software is reporting 1188 frames this could be what's wrong.

Even with the wrong project properties and the extra frames the footage still plays fine.

thanks midnight - for downloading the file and taking the effort to check.

well, it is been worked at 23.98 fps. if you check the final mov file - it is in 23.98

if you run the mxf file frame by frame -you would notice a duplicate/redundant frame after each.
i had taken some other shots during the same shooting - they didnt have any problems. its like half my footage taken have such issues and half came out clean and am clueless for why the issues in the former half, even though i didnt change any settings in my camera during the shoot

    thanks
