    Default DVD OR COMPUTER

    Is there anything that can be read by both dvd player and computer? Sorry I'm new at this. Thanks!!!

    Most DVD players can read DVDs, VCD, SVCD, CDs, MP3, JPGs,
    And there are some DVD players that can play AVIs.

    Your computer, asuming you have a DVD ROM, can play DVDs aswell.
    Also they can play and view the rest of the formats listed above.

    It's impossible to make a dvd that's totally compliant with ALL players.
    The best you can do, is encode video to DVD Spec, Author to DVD Spec, and possibly bitset the writer to DVD_ROM and use DVD+R.

    I'd say that it's accurate in that it's almost impossible to make a 100% compatible disc. Some player will inevitably refuse to play!
