Great new short film competition with first prize being the excellent editing software package AVID Xpress Pro worth £1,250.

No theme for this under 10 minute short film, we are looking for professional editing i.e no dodgy cuts, no continuity problems, no dodgy/distorted audio track, that's it. What you submit is entirely up to you.

Well, that certainly rules out all my stuff so far then

Way to go Alan. You could always make it a 10 second short film consisting of two clips and only one straight cut between them, just make sure the cut is "Frame Accurate".

To ensure the sound track is perfect just make it a Silent Movie
