    Default Video compression retaining clarity

    Hi all

I have shot videos on Nikon d90 and generally use Pinnacle for editing. But, there was always a problem of size of the final video. I wonder none of the compression technique offered in it would retain the clarity when compressed to portable size.

I am sure people out there have a solution explored for this. Guys, help me out!!

The main problem is that compressed video quality is content dependant. If you have too much fine detail or movement then your quality will suffer at lower bitrates. For your info - frame rate x frame size x quality = bit rate. Bit rate x duration = file size.
