Default image stutters if slow motion is used

hello, I'm in a lot of trouble...I really can use some help... I use premiere pro for wedding videos and every time I use slow motion(speed duration of 85%) the image stutters...and not only in premiere playback but in the final result as well. the client can't live without slow motion and if I can't give it to him I'm screwed...This happens with different cameras, computers, versions of PPro, export formats...
So please if any one can help I'd really appreciate it. Thanks

What frame rate did you capture at? If it were a slow rate like 24fps, then going to 80% wouldn't be smooth anymore.
Sometimes reducing by certain amounts can leave nasty motion... rather than using a percentage decrease, set the frame rate manually of the clip you're working on. Right click on the footage in the bin, and go modify> 'interpret footage', then select the frame rate exactly under 'assume footage as xfps)

Have a play, if you recorded at 60fps (which would be ideal) try interpreting at 30fps, might help.
