Thread: Encoding Multiple Bit Rates

    Default Encoding Multiple Bit Rates

I am looking to serve my video files with multiple bit rates for users with different bandwidth levels. I know that I will need two different MP4 files each with different bit rates. My question is how do I get these two different files. Of course i can render two individually, but that takes twice the time. Is there a way to render it once and have two (or more) files exported when the render is complete? Thanks for the help.

You could let YouTube do it for you. Just upload your file and they will render it in a variety of bit rates and resolutions. You can then download each version form a site like THIS

This sounds like a good idea. The video's will be sent to our youtube channel anyways. I wonder how I can automate all this....
