Exclamation AVI Too large for youtube

    Hi all.
Im trying to make a simple video to upload to youtube.
It has about 30-40 images and a song to accompany them.
    ~
this kind of video should only be about anywhere from 40-60 megabytes
but when i render it with vegas (instead of movie maker) it becomes an 800 mb file
    ~~
    any suggestions?

I am assuming you have made an uncompressed .avi which is fine for quality but large for up loading. Try rendering to an mpg2 this will bring down the file size while keeping the quality ok.

hey thanks my friend that worked very well! it downsized it to 40 mb
    !!

    here is the video:
the only problem now is to get the mp3 file in the movie file to be audible.
its not being approved for some reason. my other mp3s worked. i even made copies and made a .wav file and put it into the movie and this still doesnt work.
any suggestions now im at a complete loss

When you say the audio was not approved, do you mean it is copyrighted music and YouTube blocked it. Not sure I like you aligning that dangerous drug (coffee) next to cannabis.

ya it says it cannot play the music because it is copyrighted.
first i used a ripped mp3 and then converted it into a .wav and put it in the video and it still says copyrighted.
the song is young joc - coffee shop if you can get me a non-copyrighted file if u wanna help lol

It's not the copyright in the file it's the song recognition software that YouTube uses. Try finding an old song they often work.
