    Default PC350 Analog input capture

    Hi,

I have a Sony PC350 and have the analog output of an Xbox connected to the A/V jack on the PC350 base. When recording this video & audio input ON THE CAMCORDER, the recording is always stored to the memory stick instead of the DV tape. Any ideas on how to change this setting, or if it is possible?

Set the power switch on your CAM to VCR rather than to memory. Then follow the instructions in the manual.

    Good luck

Default wish it were that simple

    Hi,

In order for me to get video in from the A/V input, I am not running in CAM or MEMORY mode, I am in PLAY/EDIT mode. Sounds strange; but, when in CAM mode, it only wants to take its input from the CCD imager, not the A/V port. Unless, there is an input select setting while in CAM mode that I am unaware of.

This CAM is definitely supports AV-IN function.

It is quite normal for video cameras to utilise this function in Play or VCR mode.

Check your manual thoroughly for the specific instructions on this, and also double check that you have your AV source correctly connected to the AV socket on the back of the Dock.

    Good Luck
