    Default Making a movie intro?

Hello, I'm new here and I'm looking for some advice on how to make an intro to a youtube series I'm trying to start.

I'm mostly wondering what software to use. This is what I'm trying to achieve.

I'm starting a 'baking' series, and I wanted to zoom into an oven while its opening, and have things flying out of it... the title, some pictures...

All in all I only want it to be about 7 seconds long, but I dont know what programs to use.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

And I am working on a mac.

    Hi there, and welcome.

I think most on here would agree that if you are making videos for YouTube, then you don't need an intro. Go straight into the action would be my advice!

    Good luck.

I know, as a personal preference I wanted to make it fun and cute. An intro, to me, makes the video look more put together and thought out.

You could try downloading the trial version of Aftereffects which (I think) will work on a mac. Bit of a learning curve but it would do what you want and once you have it rendered it won't matter that the trial has ended.

    Default Opening F/X

Why not take the shot of the oven opening and just use key frame animation in Final Cut. It's really simple to key frame the size, rotation and motion in Final Cut and have things flying out at you. If you don't know how to do this I suggest you might pull out the dreaded instruction manual. It's really quite easy though.
