    Congratulations Gwen.

Its fairly obvious from both your competition entries that you have considerable talent.

Personally I don't know the pros and cons for the universities you mention, but hey, whatever one you choose, go and shine!

    Well done that man!

COMPAQ something or other with 500Gb Boot Disk, 1Tb external Firewire Disk, 4Gb Memory and a super duper sound card, 19" TFT Monitor etc etc etc

Congratulations Gwenny. Personally, I don't like the west coast - all those Welsh people. I'd go for Great Yarmouth or Kings Lynn...

Both are fantastic programs. As long as you apply yourself and keep up the hard work, you will do well at either. It used to be that folks would suggest going to the West Coast to be closer to more film and TV production. I am not so sure that needs to be the case anymore.

Whatever you do, don't let yourself just slide through any elite program. Make every effort to take full advantage. That will have the added benefit of you producing more work and being noticed by those in the industry.

Thankyou for everyone's good advice and comments. These are the two decisions...

New York Film is in the big city-- and supposedly you can make more connections easier to people will money. (Which is most definitely needed) However, you are not in the middle of the Film Industry... but you still are in it.

Hollywood is right in the middle of it all-- and USC film has so many alumni with huge hollywood swingin' reputations. However when you're in hollywood-- its a dog eat dog world because there are so many people following the same dream.

So should i be in hollywood for four years and learn the ropes before i follow my dreams or should i be in new york and make some friends and go to hollywood naive of the system?
