    Default Video Editing Technique ...

    Hi,

Just wondering if someone can help me and guide me to the right answer...

I have been watching a few videos at the moment and seeing an effect of having more than one video in the window. I've seen so many videos do this but have never been able to find software that can do it easily - am i being blind? - The example below clearly shows this ..

    Could someone let me know:

#1 - What's the best editing software to do this in?
#2 - How it is done?
#3 - Is it an effect/plug-in etc that i can add to software i already have?

    Thanks!!

    Hx

The effect is known as picture in picture (PIP), or split screen. Any editing software with multiple video layers can achieve this, and most have a preset setting such as adobe premiere elements.
