Thread: Converting NTSC to PAL for Adobe PPRO 2.0

Question Converting NTSC to PAL for Adobe PPRO 2.0

I have several footages (quick time format) on DVD bought from footagefirm in the US. These files on DVD are in quicktimefilm.
I must convert these to PAL for European use and import them in PPRO 2.0 or Encore 2.0.
The converting programms I know of (as NERO) convert the clips into video_TS of VUB files for DVD, and not in AVI format which can be used in PPRO 2.0 Encore. Can enyone give me some suggestions to make the PAL conversion usefull for Adobe.
    Thanks for replying

You could place them on the timeline in premiere, and the export to PAL. Alternatively you could use MPEG clipstream to batch convert.

    Question

Thanks, I will try this very simple solution, but what I didn't realize is that I'm already working in PAL, because I live in Europe. So my projects are basically PAL, in which I import a NTSC file if I use this solution, or am I wrong.
