Thread: What's the easiest way to convert .mov files to edit in Vegas

  1. Default What's the easiest way to convert .mov files to edit in Vegas

As title, I have a Contour HD helmet camera that I use, unfortunately the files it creates (.mov) can't be edited with Vegas. What's the easiest way to convert them?

    Many thanks,

    Mike

Well I'm no expert, but I also use a helmet cam and also gather media from a variety of differing sources some of which Vegas doesn't like at all.
When I get a problem generally it can be resolved by running the file through a file converter such as "Super" which is a free download.
    Hope this helps.

Would you have a link for super? I've looked and there seems to be all sorts of spurious stuff like it out there!

When I try to convert it says :-

Warning, you are using a non activated version of AVS Video Converter! The watermark banner will be placed in the centre of the output file

When I try to activate it says enter activation code. When the popup comes up it says "get activation code" When I go to that link it says it's $59 per year to activate???

Where did you download the application file? AVS Video Converter has nothing to do with Super. Make sure you download from the link I provided and install that software...
