    Default Sony vegas mask problem!

Hi, when i started editing today vegas gave me abit of a problem. I was doing a muzzle flash for a gun scene when i noted that the picture of the muzzle flash was not "responding to the commands" as it usally does.

When i rezise it and pan/cop it only gets bigger or smaller, it doesnt change aspect (even thougth ive choosen that it should)

also the picture doesnt match to output aspect so it cuts the picture if o move it to much on the side, how do i set it to be standard with matching the output aspect?

    Please help me!

Playing with pan/crop can take a bit of getting used to. Some screen grabs may help us to figure what you're doing and what you need to do.

If I understand your problem correctly I think you just need to unselect the size about centre button. If I haven't understood your problem just ignore this.

Yes the mask is there. When you open the Pan/Crop tool look at the bottom left of the screen. You should see the word mask and a tick box. Check out the Vegas help on how to use it.

I just took it for granted, just like my wife says I do.
