    Have you compared it against Adobe's recommendations?

    Thank you

    Adobe After Effects CS5 requires a 64-bit operating system.

    * Intel® Pentium® 4 or AMD Athlon® 64 processor (Intel Core™2 Duo or AMD Phenom® II recommended); 64-bit support required
    * 64-bit operating system required: Microsoft® Windows Vista® Home Premium, Business, Ultimate, or Enterprise with Service Pack 1 or Windows® 7
    * 2GB of RAM
    * 3GB of available hard-disk space plus 2GB of space for optional content; additional free space required during installation (cannot install on removable flash-based storage devices)
    * 1280x1024 display with OpenGL 2.0–compatible graphics card
    * DVD-ROM drive

    i know it will work.

    do you think this is reasonably priced??

    Do you think this is reasonably priced and a good spec for editing software?

    I have no idea about the reasonableness of the price, but if it reaches the min specs for the software, then it is adequate. But 'Good' is less easily defined.
    Personally (IMHO etc), I might choose to have more RAM, eg: 2x4GB instead of 2x2GB - or more, and 2 hard drives (not just one), and two monitors (one larger than 22").
    I have only used a few video editing applications, but they all become more useable when there is plenty of available screen area, when I don't have to squint at a small screen; and when disk activity and rendering time are reduced.

    Having said that; my suggestions could be added at a later date. I would recommend checking that the PC could support a 2nd drive at a future date; and whether the mboard could support the original 2*2Gb; plus an additional 2*4Gb (ie: total of 12Gb).
