Thread: Video for websites

    Default Video for websites

Well, I'm in America but this is a web question, so hopefully it doesn't matter. I'm using Adobe Premier 6.5, and I need to export a video that would be good to put on a website. I'd like to have one for PC users and one for Mac users... Any suggestions on what to use?

    Default web video

Wade, arguably you could say that either of the three main web formats - Windows Media Player, Quicktime and RealVideo could be used on either Windows or Macs.

But realistically, wmv files are best only for Windows users and Mac users seem to prefer Quicktime files.

Checkout sites that use lots of web video - CNN, www.maxboxing.com, etc. and see what they're doing.

    PS - I'm Stateside also.
