Default Cheap Cam For Filming Airsoft Games

    Hi guys

I am looking for a quite cheap small cam recoreder to use to film games and interviews etc

I want a cheap one for 2 reasons

    A) dont have the money to spend

    B) the cam might be shot at and broken (i film airsoft games)

I dont know what is a reolistic budget for this stuff so any suggestions will be helpfull

It dosnt need to be super duper HQ just enough to get a decent res on Youtube

    Thanks again

    Kodak's range

    - the 'PlaySport' might be fun. (And. If all the players had one, it could lead to some interesting options in the video editings stage).

You might want to look at Oregon Scientific, they sell some action cameras that can last through falls and knocks. They are also waterproof, so you don't have to worry if you fall in a river.
I used to have one of these, it lasted for a couple of years but eventually the garden pond killed it. I would say however the microphone was awful, I think it was mono and it was waterproof so was housed in a little gap meaning everything sounded crackly and quiet.
The frame rate was quite a steady 25-30fps even in low light conditions, and the resolution was okay for YouTube.

Might be over budget at around 300, but the gopro cams are just what you need. Robust, wearable, and small. Take a look. The only issue would be filming interviews and general shots - with no view finder, framing would be hit and miss!
