Some interesting depth to the exterior shots - looks almost surreal.
An enjoyable story and even though the ending was predictable in the split second where we saw him release the gun, the bang and accompanying FX still managed to make me jump.

I was mainly upset as we shot a film last Thursday in which in the opening scene the wife gives her husband an emusion brush for his birthday!

No doubt I'll stick it on YouTube with a link here at some point. But don't hold your breah - it's a club film which we've made specifically for IAC (the main body for UK amateur filmmakers) competitions next year, so I doubt it'll be posted for 12 months.
No guns either, but it does include a catapult and a bow and arrow!

I've seen your work before Sonnyboo, I think it important to point out the size of your crew and the pro level of equipment you have makes me really jealous. lol

The look, the sound, the story, the acting, all excellent. May be one day I'll be up to making shorts of this standard.

    Thanks for posting.

I also think it's worth mentioning your very useful website.

Ok, I'll be the spoiler here. When the gun drops, and discharges, there would be absolutely no way that the trajectory of the bullet would shoot him through the head. The angle was all wrong. That is the only fault I found, and most people will never notice it, as they would suspend belief, which is exactly what a good story teller does. Great job on the film. You do fantastic work.
