Thread: Vegas Pro 9.0-- "An error occurred while creating a proxy file for a stream"

  1. Default Vegas Pro 9.0-- "An error occurred while creating a proxy file for a stream"

    "Error 0xc00d002f (message missing)"

I've been getting this error message lately whenever I open up a group of projects I've been working on. Does anyone know what exactly it means and how I can stop it from popping up? It's not really messing up my projects as far as I can tell, but it is an annoyance.

    Thanks.

I believe you mentioned a very similar issue before, about a month ago:
    http://www.videoforums.co.uk/sony-ve...ine-issue.html

At the time, you wrote "This only started happening after I downloaded the latest update".

Have you considered re-installing the software, excluding that 'latest update', and see if the problem goes - and then doing the update and seeing if the problem occurs again.

I appreciate this kind of error message is annoying. Personally, I would have raised the issue with Sony by now.
