    Default Timecode problem

The obvious one might be to reinstall if no better suggestions are forthcoming

seriously reinstall? I take its not 'normal' then, as I cannot see anyone else having the same issue.

    Thankks for the picture.
I see you have some Track FX applied - is it there?
Remove timecode from media will do just that - remove any timecode FX applied to the MEDIA.
Another clue that you've aplied it at the track level is the time matches the time under the cursor, rather than since the beginning of the event or (probably) media.

Asking somebody to reinstall when this is potentially a typical User - me too - oversight is really not helpful.

If, as it would appear, that there is a rogue FX at Track Level then after a reinstall then that SAME result would reappear - this being a saved Track Fx - would make the User ever so slightly more frustrated than was experienced previously.

Reinstalling is a truly last resort:

    1 - It is very annoying/hobbling for a day's workflow,

2 - The same issue would persist.

This and the other thread on FX-previewing, flags the need for everybody to become acquainted with the fundamentals of Vegas. Here the User and the "reinstall advise" would benefit from reading and searching through the great Online Helpfile.

Reinstall? Last resort - not the first.
