Default Different cameras- Different capture quality?

I taped something with a DV camcorder. This camcorder, as I was told, is a better one and costs more.

At the moment, I only have the tape. I also have my own camcorder, which is lower quality.

My question is, if I capture the tape recorded in the good camera, using my camera, will I witness a quality loss?

    Default

No you will not loose quality because the information on the tape is digital.
