    Hey Guys,

I thought it was about time that I cut a reel together of my work over the past 2 years or so, a lot of which has been seen on this forum (and some which hasn't). I really enjoyed cutting it and think that I chose a music track which fits. Had a few issues with final cut bringing together the different files/formats but got there in the end!

Is it really only two years? A lot of good stuff in there Jim. Shows your skills to good effect.
Refreshing choice of music rather than a fast paced, hi-octane piece requiring equally fast paced cuts.

Thanks guys! Dancer is all complete and out at several festivals. Just heard this morning that it is being screened at the Portobello Film Festival on May the 30th which is awesome news! I can't put it online yet as it tends to ruin your chances of being screened at the bigger festivals.

The original showreel I started was a lot quicker with titles and graphics, it also showed some of the corporate work I have produced. But it didn't feel right though, a bit too snappy. I wanted the images to speak for themselves.

Enough, without being too much! Well done. A nice, balanced collection of images/techniques.

Good luck on the Festival circuit with Dancer. If the finished movie is anything like the trailer, I'm sure it will do well.

I'm fortunate enough to have seen the finished work. I think it'll do well as well.

Awesome Tim! Glad you enjoyed Dancer! If anyone else wants to see it send across your postal address on a PM. This forum gets a shout out in the end credits!
