This is my first post here, so forgive me if i posting this in the wrong section.

Im doing a bit of editing for a short film and i remember last year when i was back in school we used the Adobe Suite on the macs and there was this program that we were showed where we could add background sound to some footage to give it a bit of a cinema feel. For example if there was an intense scene you could set on the program intense and it would randomly generate background sound. It was all commercial free of course. Now im not sure of the program name, maybe Adobe Soundbooth or Audition? im not sure but does anyone have any information about this or a program that does a similar job? I would really like to add some background sound to my short film to make it seem more realistic as a film.

At school we used macs at home im using a PC so a PC program would be better.
