Been trawling the forums a camcorder to shoot another wildlife film. I'm quite suprised how many people say the hd superzooms like the panasonic fz38 and sony hx1 outshoot most bottom end camcorders for less money. Is this right ...I'm tempted by something like the cano legria r16 because of the pre record function (for wildlife) but its hard to tell if claims about the hx1 etc are true...
One of the troubles in judging is that youtube vids are often shot sooo poorly they reflect the user rather than the camera :(
Is this a real possibilty or trend or just people getting carried away by manufactures claims?
