Thread: Drop in audio recording level

Default Drop in audio recording level

I have just purchased a Pinnacle Studio HD version 14.
When recording voice overs I notice that the level drops after recording a few voice overs. I have to switch off my computer and start again before I can record at the normal level.
I tried changing the various sample rates but the level drop remained the same (low). I checked my microphone level in my SB Live Wave Device. The level is set quite high and recordings made on my Windows Sound Recorder device were perfect. But not on the Pinnacle Studio HD voice over recorder. Can anyone offer any suggestion? Many thanks.
PS I have attached a printscreen picture to show the drop in voice levels
