Thread: Bitrate??

    Smile Bitrate??

Hey everyone i have been using Premier Pro to edit some video which includes real footage with CG elements and use of after effects. I am trying to choose a codec to render it to keep a decent quality but to also get the file size as low as possible.

    The footage is 1280 X 720, fps is 29.976.

Would the bitrate help get the quality by turning it up? also what would be the best bitrate for the footage i have?

    Thanks

    Richard

IMHO, some of the answer may depend on what device the video will played on; and whether or not the image size should stay the same.

Simply increasing the bitrate can improve the picture; but only up to the point where it has the same bitrate as its equivilent uncompressed AVI.
