Default When is a cable NOT a cable...

    i-link firewire...

www.ebuyer.com sells various 4pin to 4pin cables....of all differing costs...

is nt a cable a cable...why would I want to spend more than the 99p for an ebuyer branded one...am I asking for trouble if I don't by something more expensive and branded?

Yes. Back in my early days, I read of someone disecting a cheapo firewire cable and finding it horrendously wired. Remember this could short your expensive DV connection - which costs about 100 to fix.

    Get a decent one.
