    Default Choppy HD Video

    Hi,

    Let me start of with the problem i am having,
    Currently i keep getting choppy video before and even after rendering, i have tried different formats and still get choppy even more so when overlay is done, any ideas what the problem can be?

    Most clips are 25fps 1 Clip is 30 fps File types are .mov 720p

    Total video size 13 minutes

    my computer specs:

    Motherboard: Asrock K10N78
    Processor: Quad Core phenom II 940
    Processor Speed: 3000 MHz
    Memory: 3071 MB (3GB)
    Platform: 32 Bit Windows 7
    Software Used: Corel Video Studio X3
    Hard Drive 1 - 250GB 7200RPM
    Hard Drive 2 - 160GB 7200RPM
    Graphics - ATI HD4550 512MB
    Codec Pack CCCP

    Tried
    FFDShow
    K-lite
    Shark


    I appreciate all the help i can get.

    When was the last time you did a defrag ? You graphics card is a bit weak for viewing HD but should run if your RAM is sufficient. What is the amount of free space on your Hard Disk. Are you playing the .mov file from a different Disk to the one with your OP on it that may help.

    And do a Defrag.

    My hard drive is defraged, the file is on the same drive as the OS. I have tried the rendered file on many computers with the same issue.

    You suggest to put the video files on the second drive and edit from there?
