Thread: 5 Seconds Intro

  1. Default 5 Seconds Intro

Ok it's attached to a new video i've edited today, forget about it because its just filming while training, don't even want any comment on that.

But comments on the new intro would be appreciated! (Criticism Highly Appreciated)

My first impression was it looked slick.

To try and give some criticism, I think there's a little too much going on all in a short period. The jump cut, the flash, then the bottom city jolting away, within 1 second. Maybe you could skip either the jump cut (zoom instead) or the flash. And possibly have the bottom city go away a little slower, in some fashion or another.

Overall though, great work, certainly had to be nitpicky to find criticism.

    Solway haha!

Jamiefranz I'll try to extend the whole thing for abit longer i guess, also seemed kinda hard for me to realize whats going on but wasn't really sure about that...

Also sorry for such a bump and late response, didn't have a computer here for a while...

Thumbs up, it held my attention past the critical 15 second mark.

    Nice.

Drop that title at the start is my only advice, put it at the end.

YouTube - Bloodless Family - Love Life (Part 3) - Days To Remember

I'm no expert, but I agree with some of the comments on here that it is a little too quick to take in everything that is going on ... while it is impactful as it is, slowing it down might make it work a little better.

Haha not as easy as i thought it'll be, because now by trying to extend it, everything changes.. need to rework on sound, the masking and all of the rest.... But well, what wont you do for what you like haha. I'll post up a newer version this week!
