    Hey whats the best settings to have this programm on to get the best quality outcome?

    That all depends on what your original footage format is. SD ? HD ? 1920 x 1080 ? 720 x 480 ? AND what the final view method will be. YouTube ? DVD ? BlueRay ?

    records in hd but my editing programm doesnt support hd and upload to vimeo

    For your project setting use the PAL DV widescreen template. Which gives you a video of the standard Def TV. 720 x 576.

    Then duplicate the project settings when rendering using a codec that will compress the file such as mpeg2 or wmv. This should make the files small enough to upload to the web but keep most of the quality.
