Lightbulb 24p Vs. 30i Snow Test

Just as suspected, from all the research I did about 30i capturing a better frame rate for faster moving objects and such then 24p. So I conducted an experiment to see for myself, this morning it was snowing heavily and seeing how in the future I plan on making a video about New England snow storms I figured it would be a good thing to test on. I shot in both 24p and 30i, please the zooming is NOT matched and I zoomed out faster on the 30i then the 24p. You can clearly see that the 29.970 interlaced video captures many more of the falling snow flakes and also seems to be overall a bit more sharp than the 24p that has motion blends.

Best way to do these tests, side by side.

    That's what I thought

Check out my first cinematic attempt ever, having a hard time lightening it:

Here's it blown up with an awful looking dreamy/drug blur that was an attempt at depth, it also skips or jumps/tears in the middle because I was trying to learn pan and scan techniques after I letter boxed it however I think I messed up the key frames which I don't know how to use yet:
