    Default Rendering out as Quicktime...

I am using Sony Vegas for my Digital Audio class. But my teacher doesn't like what the QDesign Compression does to the sound. Is there any way to get rid of the this while saving as a .mov? Or would it be better to save as a different format and then convert it to a .mov?

One of the advantages of Vegas is it uses VST (and DX) plug-ins. Try another compressor.

eg Kjaerhus Audio - Professional Audio Plug-ins

(there are many, many more inc many free ones)
