Don't know Pinnacle but it sounds like you have exported as DV AVI format. To master a DVD you will need to export as MPEG2 and you will find the file size much more managable ready for when you master your DVD in you app of choice.

Now pinnacle i know! If you have your dvd in the proper format, ie: ifo, vob , bup etc.. you simply open Pinnacle Instant Copy, and tell it you want to go from hard drive to hard drive. Then it will ask you to locate your IFO file. Upon dointg so, it will compress the dvd to fit onto a DVD-5 and saave the compressed stuff as .pdi Next you open Instant Copy again and tell it that you want to go from hard drive to dvd-rom, this time it asks you to locat ethe .pdi file and in doing so, it will automatically burn it to your DVD-5.

    Hope this helps!
