    Default Some stuff from Dhaka

Hi, Watching 'Kevin McCloud Slumming it' inspired me to dig out some inccidental stuff of the Bangladesh capital Dhaka from 2009.

I was watching that the other day as well. As I was watching your footage I was trying to remember what the filming was like in the program. I think yours is better.

    Nice one.

What a fascinating place. I really enjoyed watching that so thanks for posting. Nice simple shots, great quality and well edited. Nice.

Hey I really enjoyed this, man. Short and sweet, tight cutting, and a good eye for the little details that make up the texture of street scenes. Thanks for posting.

    Thanks for that guys

We were working in the slum areas of Dhaka, and it's also true of Bangladesh that poorer people live life outdoors in a communal enviroment cooking, cleaning, socialising, etc.

    Very friendly too.

I enjoyed watching that, I would also expect that these people; are some of the nicest people you could ever meet. Poverty makes people human - wealth can make for some nasty people..

    Great shots and good editing.
Wasn't keen on the speeded up bus - unnecessary in my opinion.

That bus bit is a bone of contention here too! Kind of fitted the music speeding up but never worked as well as expected.
