Thread: Stop-motion animation in vegas

  1. Default Stop-motion animation in vegas

I want to create animations in vegas (because I havnt got any other software to do so) and I've changed my image preferences to a make any image I put in a 10th of a second long so its near the animation speed of 12 frames per second BUT I get a jumpy playback.

I've rendered it and it works fine and looks great but its the preview thats odd.

    Please help.

Lower the quality of the preview.
My guess is the stills are all pretty large and Vegas is having a job resizing 12 every second. With the rendered output it's not having to do that in real time.
If you want to check timimng in preview and lowering the quality is not enough (or you need high quality) do a selective pre-render or a RAM preview for the bit you want to check.
