Thread: Due to upgrade?

    My desktop is getting on now and it is time to upgrade. However I want a laptop but still be able to video edit are these specs up to the job?

    Intel Pentium Dual-Core processor T4300
    (2.1Ghz, 800Mhz, 1MB Cache)
    Genuine Windows(R) 7 Home Premium
    4GB Memory
    320GB Hard drive
    17" screen

    Dell 1750 plus fit a firewire card.

    This should be ok for SD work but you may struggle if you want to edit HD.

    I should of said , it's mini DV. Surfing the net and people seem to be using laptops with less specs! But I want to be sure.
