Default I want a train set for Christmas

...and when I say "I want a train set for christmas" I mean THIS train set

Unfortunately the quality on YouTube is a bit naff and the huge size of the set doesn't come across.

Seriously impressive. But don't be too envious, Gaffer, size isn't everything and having a really big one of those is most unlikely to get the girls.

Me too, how is that done, magnets? Now, invest in a small scale model helicopter and take some shots of it flying sideways above a train and all of those moving aerial shots would have looked even more impressive. How were they done Gaffer, nice and smooth I thought.

What kind of camera dolly/jig combination did you use? Tracking those trains down the length of the table showed some impressive and coordinated moves. Keep the train set; I want that jig!

    What jig?

The pseudo-helicopter movements were made by hand (with me making "Taggataggatagga" noises to get in the mood).

    Glad you enjoyed it!

Damn! Those were some smooth movements for foot-hand work. I'm barely able to chew gum and walk down the street at the same time.
