    Default pixelizing faces in prmiere pro with matrox rt.x 100 xtreme

    I have a new system taht was recommended and I need to blur the faces of people in some fashion either by pixelizing or by a black bar or something. anybody got any ideas for a beginner?

    but use the crystalise effect rather than the noise. And duplicate track 1 in track 2 rather than using black video. You can move track two around as necesary.

    Not a great way, but works.

    ...and just in case that needs rendering (i.e. it isn't realtime) and because you have an RTX100 you can do it this way as well.

    Strictly speaking it's a tutorial for highlighting an area of interest with animated masking (the interesting bit). You should just be able to change the 'effect' to hide the face.

    However, using this technique you'll only be able to apply the effect to a rectangle and animate its size and position. You will not be able to apply the effect to a circle.
